2012
The title Book of Rules was improvised as a quick file name for this photo series. Back in 2012, during my solo show ‘A.P.E.’ at Yves Laroche, I created a small zine—just 50 copies, each signed, stamped, dated, and given out for free at the event. I'd be surprised if I found one in my boxes today!

The photos capture selfies with friends, strangers, or familiar faces at bars, clubs, and exhibition openings around Montréal. I wanted to keep a digital, unfiltered feel, so I took screenshots that included Photoshop’s window frame.
